By the age of three, children start to understand feelings. Feeling charts help them recognise and label an emotion they have and develop their self-awareness.
Not only does it start the conversation for why they are feeling a good way or a bad way, but it begins their development to understanding the feelings of those around them.
Emotional intelligence is a beautiful thing to begin to foster at a young age, and it doesn’t need to be serious, it can be as fun as diving into the sea to visit the mermaids.
Beautifully hand-drawn and designed by yours truly, I have left each feeling unidentified for you to label at a level your child understands, or how your family talks about emotions.
Is she a happy mermaid? Or a ‘she’s got her groove back’ mermaid? However, you want to label an emotion is up to you!
Do you want a different type of emotion chart? We have our dinosaurs, Kombi vans and sporting emotion charts coming soon!
